This is " It's A Dog's Life" (aka Rosie!!) .

She was completed on 07 March 2007. It was painted in acrylics on canvas board. The piece was donated to the Greyhound Rescue Centre in Ohio, USA as an auction item for one of their fundraising events.

The subject of this portrait is a beautiful greyhound called Rosie, I was kindly given permission to use her photograph as a reference for this portrait from her owners, Jen & Derrick in the USA.

This piece will also be used towards my Pet Portraiture Diploma course.
